This year on August 7th and 8th, the theme will be "The Gathering of Fortresses and Legends... The Final Mission."

2005 was such a wonderful year, it seems they decided to bring back the B-17's! Hopefully there will be more of a turnout. I believe there was 8 flying that year which is still an incredible number.

Here's the list of confirmed aircraft and acts as of a few weeks ago:

The Horsemen
John Mohr Barnstorming
B-17G "Yankee Lady"
B-17G "Nine O Nine"
B-17G Movie "Memphis Belle"
B-17G "Desert Rat" (parts)
B-17G "Champaign Lady" (parts)
B-24J "Witchcraft"
Me-262
BF-109
TP-51C "Betty Jane"
P-51B "Old Crow"
P-51D " Gentlemen Jim"
B-25D "Yankee Warrior"
B-25J "Briefing Time"
C-47D "Yankee Doodle Dandy"
"Screamin Rebel Air Shows" - T-6 Texans
CHAA - Harvards

Here is also the description of the WW2 Reenactment:
Quote:
We are very excited to announce, Thunder over Michigan 2010 will feature The Worlds Largest WWII Air & Ground Battle Reenactment. The battle will kick off with a Me-109 and Me-262 in formation, buzzing multiple German flak gun positions as their crews look on. Once the German fighters depart, the flak crews scramble to their guns as a formation of B-17s appear on their way to a distant target. A lone B-24 approaches pursued by the Me-262, as the Me-109 attempts to jump the B-17 formation in the distance. Once it looks like the Germans control the battle, multiple P-51s arrive to engage the Me-109 and Me-262 as American ground units arrive to engage the flak crews and other German ground units.

I'm really looking forward to this one!

Glad to see you over here Ryan, and just as glad to hear that there will be a 262 and THE HORSEMEN at TOM, now all I need to hope for is that Michael Goulian decides to join his ASB hangarmates at Willow Run.

Haha thanks, I'm glad I finally found the forum. Ryan (tomcat) had mentioned it a while ago but I couldn't remember what it was called. ;)

Holy moly that show sounds incredible. I have never seen a Me-262 so that will be a real treat. Thanks for the updates.

Yes I'm sure, A) that show was awesome last year and I don't want to miss this years and B) I'm still right on schedule mile-wise (10K a year).

The new website is up and looks great!

http://yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/

Noticed that they list a C-17, F-16, F-15, F-18 and C-130 on the scrolling bar under performers. Hope they are all demos.

There are 7 B-17's confirmed so far. Will Ward will be flying the Mig-21 with his Mig-17 on static.

Dang, already that is a great show, and I know they are only probably half way done with securing more acts!
